1. REFORMATION:

  • Reformation Has Always Accompanied God’s People, [Isa. 53:6].
  • Examples: The Book of Judges; Jesus; Protestantism; Azusa; Rhema.
  • Reformation Makes Us Better Because It Draws Us Closer to God, And the Closer We Get to God, The Better We Become [2 Cor. 3:18].

2. REFORMATION & DISCIPLESHIP:

  • Key: There’s A Growing Dissatisfaction with The Mega Church Model.
  • Why: We’re Called to Be Disciples & Disciples Are Not Made on Sundays.
  • Truth 1: God’s Original Plan Has Not Changed, [Gen. 1:18; Matt. 28:19-20].
  • Truth 2: Reformation Must Be Followed by Discipleship!

3. THE OLD TESTAMENT & SMALL GROUPS:

  • Israel A Nation Of 1000’s Divided into Tribes, Families & Houses, [Num. 1:2-3].
  • Counting Israel = Giving Account in Small Groups, [Num. 2:1-2,34].
  • Accountability Is Easier in Small Groups [Josh.7:14].
  • Families Are Forged in Small Groups, [Ps. 68:6].
  • Healthy Houses Form a Great Kingdom, [Ex. 19:6].

4. THE NEW TESTAMENT & SMALL GROUPS:

  • When It Comes to Salvation, God Is Not Anti-Size [Acts 2:41; 4:4].
  • Multitudes Enter into Houses for Teaching, [Acts 2:42]. Catechism
  • Multitudes Enter into Houses for Fellowship, [Acts 2:44-46].
  • House To House Leads to Daily Growth, [Acts 2:47].
